By Lori Lindner
North Liberty Leader
TIFFIN– When the City of Tiffin needed help in developing a plan for the city’s parks and trails, the council hired professional consultants at HBK Engineering to provide it.
Then, they learned they had a partner right next door with an equally strong vision.
Students from Clear Creek Amana (CCA) Middle School’s STEM group came to the council’s Jan. 19 meeting to present their ideas for developing about 1,100 feet of trail near the Timber Ridge housing development.

North Liberty Leader
NORTH LIBERTY– A rented crane, a few blow torches wielded by several fearless people and $16,800.

Iseler’s personnel started with demolition on Tuesday, but windy conditions caused safety concerns, and the overall-clad crew began again at 4:30 Thursday morning.
By 8:30 a.m., half the structure was gone.
