Application, safety session for Johnson County bow hunters to be held Sept. 20 and Sept. 24

OXFORD– The Johnson County Conservation Board will conduct the 2011 Controlled Deer Hunt (antlerless only) in the F.W. Kent Park Deer Management Zone.
The controlled gun hunt for year 2011 will allow issuance of 60 licenses to 40 hunters for Dec. 3 and 4. Hunters will be allowed to apply for two antlerless licenses. If more than 60 applications are received there will be a drawing

Gerald Peter Wolfe, 70, of Manchester, formerly of Ryan, died Saturday, Aug. 13, in the home he built, surrounded by the family he loved.

Loretta E. Telecky, 99, of Solon, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Hallmark Care Center. Funeral Services were held Aug. 19 at Brosh Chapel in Solon. Burial followed at Rogers Grove Cemetery, near Ely.
