Teachers to get four percent pay increase

IOWA CITY– The teachers’ union collectively bargained in Iowa City last month for a 4.2 percent raise, ratifying a new contract with the Iowa City Community School District.

“We don’t have a lot of issues of people feeling their being taken advantage of from either side,” he said.

New directions for CCA board members

The school district is divided into four divisions: District 1 includes the Amana Colonies, District 2 has Tiffin, District 3 includes Oxford, and District 4 encompasses CCA’s portions of North Liberty and Coralville.
