2012 IGCA Class 5A All-State Softball teams announced

DES MOINES– The Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association released their 2012 All-State Softball Teams on Monday, July 30. Iowa City West’s Tatum Klein (First Team), Mackenzie Laux and Shelly Stumpff (both Second Team) were the only Women of Troy named from the first-ever West squad to make the state tournament. West had to settle for fourth place after Pleasant Valley took a 5-2 win in the third-place game on Friday, July 20, in Fort Dodge.
