City to host public meeting on road projects April 24
NORTH LIBERTY– Highway 965 and North Front Street/Mehaffey Bridge Road will both see major improvements this year. The public is invited to an open house scheduled for Thursday, April 24, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. in the North Liberty Community Library. Project engineers and city staff will be available to explain these projects, as well as plans to upgrade Penn Meadows Park, and answer questions about how they will affect the public.
The two road projects won’t be put to bid until later this month, with work slated to start mid-May. The city has set up northlibertyiowa.org/projects to host details and keep residents up to date on the projects as they progress. There, you can see maps of the projects and detours, learn about timelines, and get answers to questions.
