Community Thanksgiving service Nov. 18

The annual Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service in Solon will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Sunday, Nov. 18. 
A soup supper begins at 5 p.m. in the parish family life center. The Prayer Service begins in the church at 6 p.m. Rev. Carol Kress (Solon United Methodist Church), Rev. Dennis Arnold (Our Lord’s Church) and Rev. James Vrba (St. Mary Church) will lead the service of prayer, scripture, message and song. A combined choir of the churches will assist with the music. The offering will be given to the Solon Senior Advocates. This is a wonderful way for the Solon community to give thanks for its many blessings.
