David L. Kuda, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Funeral services were held April 16 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories officiated by Pastor John Louk. Interment with military honors was at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations in David’s name may be directed to Salem United Methodist Church, Camp Courageous, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
David L. Kuda was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Cedar Rapids to William G. and Mary L. (Lechky) Kuda. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant. He was employed as an engineer for Rockwell Collins from 1955 until 1993.
David was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, where he was very active.
David is survived by sisters-in-law Phyllis Kuda of Cedar Rapids and Mildred (Donald) Miller of Swisher; four nephews; three nieces; a nephew-in-law; a niece-in-law; many great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers William and Richard Kuda.
