This is the Foundation’s second “Food for Thought: Dine Out for Education” event. Zephyr / Imprinted Sportswear provided promotional sponsorship for the program, which ensures that 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the foundation’s “Excellence Fund.”
The ICCSD Foundation generates and assists others in generating financial resources to enhance the education of all students within the district. More than $4 million has been raised to support curricular enhancements and special projects since the foundation’s inception in 1981. In 2011, the foundation awarded over $77,000 in “Excellence Fund” grants to support programs such as School of the Wild, iPads in Hands, The Symphony Goes to School, Visiting Author, and others.
