Girl Scouts to hold garage sale June 9 to help fund national trip

NORTH LIBERTY– Girl Scouts from Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois will be holding a garage sale at 115 Bayberry Ln. in North Liberty on June 9 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Scouts are raising funds toward the Girl Scout Council’s 2013 national trip to Washington, D.C., New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
Please consider helping by donating items to sell such as clothes, household items, linens, kitchenware, shoes, furniture, etc. Please, no broken items.
The sale will feature clothing, furniture, electronics, books and household items. Baked goods and Girl Scout Cookies will be available for purchase. Cash and credit cards accepted (with finance fee). Donations are always welcome.
Most items can be dropped off any evening at 115 Bayberry Ln. beginning June 2. Please call to make an appointment. All leftover items will be donated to a local charity. Email the troop at handparker@gmail.com or call Heidi Parker at 319-665-2028.
