Hills Bank donates more than $2,250 to area schools
HILLS– The Classroom Cash program from Hills Bank recently donated $2,002.08 to the Clear Creek Amana School Foundation, and $278.56 to Heritage Christian School. These funds will be used to support programs and services which enhance student educational experiences.
Since the program began, $21,158.18 has been earned for Clear Creek Amana Community Schools, and $2,630.81 for Heritage Christian School. Classroom Cash empowers Hills Bank customers to earn money for the public school district or private school of their choice in our community. For every purchase made with a Hills Bank debit card, a donation is made to an area school. There is no cost to the school or the customer, it can be a great way to make a difference in our community schools. Approximately 20,700 Hills Bank customers are currently earning money for their school of choice.
“A vital part of the Hills Bank mission is to give back to our community,” said Dwight O. Seegmiller, President and CEO of Hills Bank and Trust Company. “This program allows our customers to help by simply swiping their Hills Bank debit card. The more they use their card, the more our community schools benefit.”
