Free energy-efficiency rehab training
The City of DeWitt and City of North Liberty are co-hosting the Center on Sustainable Communities’ (COSC) free statewide Energy-Efficiency Rehab Training. The workshops support North Liberty’s participation in Alliant Energy’s Hometown Rewards program and offer the state’s most comprehensive building renovation training focusing on sustainable techniques and energy efficiency. Part one of the training was held in DeWitt on Sept. 14 and 15, and part two will take place in North Liberty on Oct. 5 and 6.
COSC’s free statewide Energy-Efficiency Rehab Training is open to anyone with an interest in sustainable building techniques and energy efficiency, including builders, contractors, architects, realtors, lenders, sub-contractors, inspectors, assessors, city staff, developers, students, homeowners and building owners. Contractors and other building professionals who attain a certificate of completion from the course will be placed on a preferred vendor list promoted across Iowa.
For more information on this training and to register online, please visit www.icosc.com. Or, you can email COSC at info@icosc.com or call 515-277-6222. Registration for this free training is required.
