James Gilbert “Jim” Cavin, 53, of Washington, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., following a lengthy illness. Mass of the Resurrection was held March 8 at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Troy Richmond officiating.
Local survivors include stepbrother Michael Karen) Hendrickson of North Liberty.
