Join the NL recreation staff on a trip to Wrigley Field May 18
NORTH LIBERTY– Join the North Liberty Recreation Center (NLRC) on a trip to Chicago to celebrate 100 years of baseball at historic Wrigley Field on Sunday, May 18.
See the Milwaukee Brewers vs. the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Don’t worry about the hassle of getting tickets, driving, tolls or parking, because the rec staff has it covered. Bus will stop for food at the DeKalb Oasis on the way home. Food and drink are allowed on the bus, but no alcohol is allowed. This trip is for ages 18 or older unless accompanied by an adult. Fee is $70 per person (Price includes ticket and charter to Chicago).
The charter bus will leave NLRC at 6 a.m. for a 1:20 p.m. game time. The bus departs Chicago at 6 p.m. and returns to NLRC around 11 p.m.
If the trip is cancelled completely, participants will lose the ticket price since tickets are non-refundable. Participants will have the option to obtain ticket and provide their own transportation to Chicago or receive a refund minus the ticket price. No other refund request will be granted.
Registration deadline is Sunday, May 4.
Stop at the North Liberty Community Center to sign-up in person or go to northlibertyiowa.org/city-services/recreation-department/ and click the Register Online tab to sign-up online. Online registration will require a service fee.
