Library holiday decorations

Over 100 teddy bears are adorning the “beary” special Christmas tree in the children’s section of the library. Be sure and stop and take a look. Toni Russo’s “Candy Land” display window features two wonderful gingerbread houses baked and decorated especially for the window by Mark Mueller. See the feature story for all the details on her latest creation (page 2). Stained glass Santa Clauses from around the world are hanging gaily in the windows behind the circulation desk. These Santa Clauses were all crafted by Charles Whetstine and are on loan to the library for the holiday season. Appearing in the adult reading area when the Habitat trees are gone will be a large tree in green, gold and burgundy.
