Solon food pantry organizational meeting Dec. 14

SOLON– The Solon Senior Advocates invite the community to attend its members-at-large meeting Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Solon Public Library.
The Senior Advocates are partnering with the Crisis Center of Johnson County, Our Lord’s Church, Solon United Methodist Church and St. Mary Catholic Church to establish a food pantry in Solon that will serve Solon and the northwest quadrant of Johnson County. The group is in the planning stages and is actively seeking a location that is accessible, heated, secure and large enough to house pantry needs. All those interested in a community pantry are invited to attend.
