SOLON– Hills Bank is sponsoring a meal at Old Gold Dining for the Senior Advocates on March 14. Brenda Langenberg from Mount Vernon will bring diners up to date on what Hills Bank & Trust can do for attendees. Call ahead to reserve seating at 319-624-2251.
Friday, March 16: Jay Proffitt will entertain at Old Gold Dining with his exotic stumpfiddle for a gala St. Patrick’s celebration. Call ahead 319-624-2251 for your reservation.
Thursday, March 22: van trip to Liberty Iron Works in Mount Vernon, dine at Kava House Café in Swisher, visit Space Doctors Interiors in Shueyville and then end the excursion with a visit to Cedar Ridge Winery in Swisher. Leaving from Sam’s Main Street Market parking lot at 11 a.m. Call 319-624-2710 for reservations.
Monday, March 26: Meal and a Movie– “Oh God!” with George Burns and John Denver. A comedy guaranteed to delight. Chicken and noodles and angel food cake catered by Savvy Coffee and Wine Bar, with dining at 11:30 a.m. at the Solon Public Library. Call 319-624-2710 for reservations.
Wednesday, March 28: fourth grade class visits Old Gold Dining, bringing sack lunches and sitting with seniors for a good talk fest. Call ahead at 319-624-2251 to join them.
