Test your limits by joining the Boy Scouts
SOLON– Boy Scout Troop 120 wants you. Now is the time to join the fun and excitement of America’s foremost youth program for boys— Boy Scouts. Designed for boys ages 11 to 18, boy scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics and more, in a fun and exciting program that helps boys test their limits.
Troop 120 will hold an informational meeting on Sunday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Solon United Methodist Church immediately preceding our weekly troop meeting. Interested parents and scouts are invited to stay for the troop meeting. Fliers with additional details will be distributed at schools before the scheduled events.
Coming activities for Troop 120, include:
• Outdoor adventures at summer camp including hiking, climbing, archery, rifle, paint ball, pioneering, wilderness survival, swimming, fishing, mountain biking, etc;
• Canoeing in the boundary waters;
• Participation in Beef Days;
• Monthly campouts;
