Tiffin budget amendment public hearing set for May 30

TIFFIN— The Tiffin City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Tiffin Fire Station for the purpose of approving a $50,000 amendment to the city’s budget. City Clerk/Administrator Michon Jackson said the amount is necessary to cover salary and benefits for her position in addition to severance and back pay for other city employees.
Jackson told the council the actual meeting would likely only take between five and 10 minutes to conduct.
