Vivian Mae (Hanson) Peterson, 93, of Harlingen, Texas was born in Salem, S.D. and died on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Windmill Manor nursing home in Coralville.
She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Whitticar; her son-in-law Elliott Whitticar; her grandson Jeff Hughes; her granddaughter-in–law Lori Christensen; her great grandson Owen Hughes; her grandson Russ Hughes and his partner Lauren Stark; and her former son-in-law Jim Hughes and his partner Carol Roland. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three siblings.
Vivian enjoyed gospel and country music and the fellowship of loved ones.
A celebration of her kind and pleasant nature will be held at the home of her daughter.
