NORTH LIBERTY– Starting Monday, Aug. 15, Jones Boulevard in North Liberty will be closed in order to completely reconstruct the road.
Access to Fairview Lane, Harvest Estates and Cory Court will be closed and travelers are advised to use alternative routes.
Travelers to Cory Court may go north to Zeller. Fairview Lane detours to Highway 965. Harvest Estates and Prairie may go south to Kansas, to Highway 965 or south Jones to Forevergreen Road.
These roads will be closed for approximately four to six weeks, dependent on weather. No local traffic is permitted in the construction zone.
Construction Inspector Larry Trout noted that 270th St./Andrews to Clear Creek Amana is now open.
The City of North Liberty asks drivers to plan extra commute time during the construction, and offers thanks for everyone’s cooperation and understanding.
