NORTH LIBERTY– The newly-installed stop light at the intersection of Penn Street and Jones Boulevard is expected to be activated this week. North Liberty officials are urging all drivers to be cognizant of the change.
According to Street Superintendent Don Colony, the stop light was expected to be fully operational by the week of Sept. 19.
“Penn Street has been widened and Jones is still under construction. One of the amenities for both of these roads is the new stop light. It should start going through the green, yellow, red cycle Monday. This new light will ease the congestion on those heavily traveled streets.”
