SOLON– A rural Solon man has been charged with first degree robbery after displaying a knife and demanding prescription drugs at a Solon pharmacy.
According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Department complaint, Gregory J. Engrav, 36, of 4143 245th St. NE, Solon, was arrested after he was identified by an employee at Solon Drug.
Engrav allegedly entered the pharmacy at 2:38 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, displayed a knife and demanded prescription medications. Although his face was partially covered, the suspect left the pharmacy and got into a white Ford Taurus. The license plate led authorities to Engrav, who was later positively identified as the suspect.
First-degree robbery is a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Engrav is being held in the Johnson County Jail on bond of $100,000 cash or surety.
