Stephanie Semler

Stephanie R Semler, 31, passed away peacefully at her home in Iowa City on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, following complications of a lifelong illness. Funeral services were held June 16 at Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City with Pastor Mark Pries officiating. Burial followed at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Stephanie R. Semler Memorial Fund.
Stephanie was born on Dec. 19, 1980, in Iowa City, the daughter of Benny and Judy (Fuhrmeister) Semler. She was an ambassador of Mark Twain School in Iowa City and later went on to graduate from City High in 2002.
Local survivors include her sister Jodie (John) O’Connell of Solon.
