Swisher Men’s Club honors veterans
SWISHER– Jose N. Harris is quoted as writing, “A veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. Regardless of personal or political views, there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact…”
The Swisher Men’s Club decided to not only remember that fact, but also make a visual statement of gratitude.
On Friday, Nov. 6. members of the club installed 50 banners in Swisher honoring Swisher area veterans in honor of Veterans Day (Wednesday, Nov. 11).
