she married Robert H. Skriver in Iowa City. She had worked as a cook for the University of Iowa at the Quad and Memorial Union. Before that she and her husband Bob owned and operated the Downtowner Restaurant in West Liberty and before that was a manager for Lacina Skelly in West Branch.
