Focusing on the adventures of a single chick set against a backdrop of never-before-filmed landscapes, it is a visually stunning journey into the life and struggles of the mysterious and inspiring flamingo.
“Everything Must Go” (2010) R, Comedy/Drama– Will Farrell stars in this adaptation of a Raymond Carver short story about an alcoholic who relapses, causing him to lose his wife and his job.  He holds a yard sale on his front lawn in an attempt to start over. A new neighbor might be the key to his return to form.

Early out movie Oct. 6
The next early out program will be on Thursday, Oct. 6, with the showing of the move “Rio” rated G. Movie time will be from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Fun and free early-out activities are for all Solon students. There is no registration. Children under the age of 10 attending the movie need to be picked up by parents or caregivers at 3:15 p.m.

Harlan Coben fans will find his latest novel “Shelter” directed to the Young Adult section. With this new series, Coben introduces a new generation of readers to the masterful plotting and wry humor from his previous novel, “Live Wire.” First introduced in “Live Wire,” Mickey Bolitar has witnessed his father’s death, sent his mom to rehab and is forced to live with his uncle Myron on top of switching schools. Along with a new girlfriend, Mickey discovers a seedy underworld and a shocking conspiracy. There’s no going back to his previous life as he questions everything he thought he knew.
“The Perfect Suspect” by Margaret Coel is a new Catherine McLeod mystery. After a candidate for governor is murdered and his estranged wife is arrested for it, journalist McLeod gets a phone call from a woman claiming she saw the real killer leave the scene but she is afraid to report it to the police. McLeod must risk her career, as well as her life, to try and find the woman behind the phone call in order to identify the killer.
G. M. Malliet brings readers a new Max Tudor novel, “Wicked Autumn.” Religion, espionage, tea and crumpets, and a little spice to village life will have you chuckling your way through the pages of this cozy mystery. “Murder Most Persuasive” by Tracy Kiely is a clever and entertaining story. When Martin Reynold’s house is sold after his death and the new owners are digging up the pool, a body of a man thought to have run away eight years ago for embezzling is uncovered. This is another cozy mystery that will keep you entertained.
