Penn PTO to hold ‘Every Nickel Counts’ can drive

NORTH LIBERTY– The Penn Elementary School PTO is holding a can drive on Tuesday, April 10, from 2:45 until 6:45 p.m. at the school on 230 N. Dubuque St. Pop cans and plastic and glass bottles will be accepted. If it has an “IA 5-cent” deposit, they’ll take it. Just drive up and drop them off… they do the sorting. Cans/bottles should be reasonably clean and dry. Flattened or crushed items cannot be accepted. All funds raised will go to the Penn library makeover fund.
