William Lumpa

William J. Lumpa, 79, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services were held Dec. 28 at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial was in the West Branch Cemetery.
William Joseph Lumpa was born May 25, 1932, in Johnson County, the son of John and Hilda Niemeyer Lumpa. On Feb. 13, 1955, he was united in marriage to Janet Mickelson in Iowa City. Bill had been employed with Foster Trucking for 22 years and West Branch Farm Supply, where he managed the Oasis Elevator for 14 years.
Local survivors include his sister Irene (Bob) Steinbrech of Solon.
