NORTH LIBERTY– The North Liberty water department is replacing in-home meters throughout town. Water department staff, recognizable by their city vehicles, t-shirts and identification, must enter homes in order to change meters between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Not all city meters will be changed. This is an on-going project.
“The actual installation and reading should take approximately an hour. Keeping water meters up to date helps ensure accurate readings. We thank everyone for their patience as we enter their homes and businesses,” said North Liberty Water Department Superintendent Greg Metternich.
