Gloria Mae Kula

Gloria (Chub) Mae Kula, 65, of Anamosa, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at her home. Services were held Feb. 3 at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. The Rev. Laurie Riley officiated. Internment was at the Cass Cemetery in rural Anamosa.

Local survivors include Garold Kula of North Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard, Gary and Galen; a sister, Glarice; and an uncle, Leonard Kula.
Gloria Kula was born Oct. 4., 1946, in Anamosa. She was the daughter of Leroy F. and Minnie B. Shaw Kula. She was a 1965 graduate of Anamosa High School. She lived most of her life in the Cass Center area. Gloria was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Anamosa.
