IOWA CITY– This month’s Third Thursday is hitting the road. The Johnson County Historical Society (JCHS) will be going to Kent Park on July 19.
Join Larry Lovetinsky of the Johnson County Conservation Board on a trek around the lake at Kent Park to learn about the bridges that make up the trail. Larry will talk about how the process of repairing the bridges came to be and give some history of each bridge and what we did to each bridge along with tales from the process.
Participants will walk the length of the trail around the lake. Please meet at the boat ramp parking lot.
