Solon Community Pantry has food for distribution

SOLON– The Solon Community Pantry has bread, eggs, meat, milk, fresh produce and many canned and packaged items available for families. Pantry hours are Mondays, 3-7 p.m. Individual appointments can be made by calling 319-333-6474 anytime to schedule an appointment between 1-3 p.m. on Mondays.
The many items available in the pantry can considerably reduce families’ food budgets and with school starting soon, many families will need to purchase school supplies.
The pantry is dedicated to providing for families in the northeast Johnson County area, including Ely, Swisher, Shueyville and the greater Solon area.
